From our family shore to yours. · Every piece is one of one
Sea Isle City, New Jersey
A father and his three daughters walk one shore, gather stones by hand, and turn the rare ones into jewelry that exists exactly once.
One shore. One family. No two pieces alike.

Every piece
One of one
It started in Sea Isle City, New Jersey — the beach where Nick and Alana met over twenty years ago.
Two decades later we bring our three daughters to the same sand. They fill their pockets faster than we can carry them. Family Tides is what happened when we stopped leaving the best stones behind.
FAMILY PHOTO — walking the shore together
Our beginning
A summer in Sea Isle City. A boardwalk, a corner, a conversation. Nick and Alana met there more than twenty years ago and never really left the place behind.
Now we come back with three daughters, and the walk has a purpose. Everyone collects. Everyone has an opinion about the best find of the day. The stones come home in a bucket, get washed on the porch, and dry in a row on a towel.
Most go back to the beach. A few don't. Those become necklaces and rings, made at our kitchen table, carrying a real day from a real shore.
How a stone becomes a piece
The five of us walk the same shore, pockets and buckets filling as we go. Nothing is bought, nothing is sourced.
Back at the house we rinse the sand off, lay everything out to dry, and argue happily over which stones stay.
The keepers are wrapped or set at our kitchen table, one at a time. Each stone becomes one piece and only one.
Heart Tides
We find naturally heart-shaped stones more often than anyone expects — never carved, never shaped, never helped along. A break at the right angle, then years of surf softening the edges.
They are the rarest thing we bring home, and the piece people reach for when they are giving something that has to mean something.

Six pieces from one weekend of collecting. When a piece sells, it is gone for good — the stone only existed once.

Why pieces disappear
There is no restock, because there is no second stone. When a piece is claimed it moves to our archive, where it stays visible — so you can see exactly what the shore has given us and what a future piece might look like.
Nothing is archived yet — this is the first drop.
Stone guide
We describe every stone as a likely identification, never a lab-confirmed one. Our guide covers 11 stones you can genuinely find on a New Jersey beach — how to identify them, and the traditions attached to them.

HEART STONES — this week's finds
This week
Two heart stones in one walk. Neither one was planned.
STONE SORTING — bucket of finds
This week
A full bucket from the north end, still gritty with sand.

Watch us make it
We film the sorting, the washing, and the wrapping. If you have ever wondered how a stone off the sand ends up on a chain, it is all on our feed.
